What Hermes Link Processes

Hermes Link processes the information needed to create and operate a live translated conversation:

• Conversation text and translations exchanged during the live session.
• Basic connection information needed to route the session through the Hermes Link relay.
• Business account, QR code, and team-seat information when a business uses Hermes Link.

Relay Conversations

Unlike nearby Hermes Translate conversations, Hermes Link conversations use a secure relay so customers can join from a browser without installing the app. The relay is used to deliver the conversation between participants and provide translation features.

Hermes Link is not an advertising network and does not sell conversation data.

Conversation History

Hermes Link may offer businesses the option to retain conversation history for service, training, or operational follow-up. When history retention is enabled, the business controls whether those records are kept or deleted according to the settings available to that account.

If history retention is disabled or unavailable for a session, Hermes Link is intended to keep only the data needed to operate and secure the live conversation.

Waitlist and Demo Requests

If you join the Hermes Link waitlist or request a demo, we collect the contact details you submit, such as your email address, business name, industry, and whether you requested a demo. We use that information only to contact you about Hermes Link.

Customer Choices

Customers can choose whether to join a Hermes Link conversation from a QR code or link. Businesses using Hermes Link should provide any additional notices required for their industry, region, or internal policies.
