Hermes Link Terms of Service

These terms apply when you host or join a Hermes Link translated conversation. Hermes Link is a relay-supported hosted conversation experience that is separate from nearby, on-device Hermes Translate conversations.
Using Hermes Link
Only join a Hermes Link conversation when you trust the host or received the QR code, link, or session code from someone you intended to speak with. Hosts are responsible for sharing session links appropriately and for providing any notices required by their organization, industry, or region.
Hosted Relay Conversations
Hermes Link conversations use a secure relay to deliver conversation text and translations between the host and guest. This is different from nearby Hermes Translate conversations, which connect directly between devices in the installed app.
Do not use Hermes Link for emergencies, legal advice, medical advice, or situations where a professional interpreter is required.
Translation Accuracy
Machine translation can make mistakes. Confirm important details with the other participant before relying on a translation for decisions, purchases, travel, health, safety, legal, or financial matters.
Privacy
Hermes Link relay conversations are covered by the Hermes Link Privacy Policy.
